TheRoom Radio #005 – GUILLE DE JUAN

TheRoom Radio #005 – GUILLE DE JUAN

Linked to the Barcelona scene since the early 90s, Guille de Juan (@guilledejuan) has performed on several occasions at Sónar Festival. His presence over three decades in the city's underground electronic scene has allowed him to expand his professional background, and accumulate a remarkable experience behind the decks. Attentive to rhythms capable of transmitting emotion, his musical concept has been growing over the years combining house, electro, disco, hip-hop, jazz, soul, and funk. He currently runs CURTIS (www.curtisaudiocafe.com), the first audio-café in Barcelona. A unique space that combines a record store, a music bar, an audio library with listening points, and a cocktail lounge. Conceived with special attention to sound quality, and careful weekly programming of guest selectors. In his exclusive mix for TheRoom Barcelona Guille shows us that although he's passionate about soul, jazz, and old-school hip hop, he can drive away from nostalgia, and is aware of actual musical productions. An hour of music with tints of these current sessions, which you can listen to any summer night at Curtis Audiocafe (@curtisaudiocafe). Enjoy!
