Puma was started in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, older brother of Adidas founder Adi Dassler. Puma is known for their football Camp; running shoes, but standing out as one of the most classic Puma sneakers is the Clyde, designed in 1973 for basketball star Walt Frazier and later adopted by the early Hip Hop heads & skater kids. Today Puma is still one of the world’s leading sneaker companies, with models ranging from innovative shoes such as the lightweight Faas running shoe to the heritage of the classic Clyde & Suede models.
