Converse

CONVERSE

Massachusetts, USA

Since its inception in 1908, Converse has consistently satisfied clientele with a comfortable sneaker composed upon an iconic silhouette. The sneaker was originally constructed for the purpose of being a high-performance basketball shoe, but has since become an omnipresent staple. Whilst the rubber-soled canvas body remains the archetype for the Converse shoe, it is occasionally modified in collaboration with other designers, including Comme Des Garçons PLAY, P.A.M (Perks and Mini) and Neighborhood. The reinterpretation of the shoe from basketball to the everyday epitomises the shoe’s functionality.
